Precision Healthcare Specialists, a growing network of Southwest Florida physicians, has added board-certified Urologist Dr. Mark Leo, FACS, in Fort Myers.
A national expert in the field of men’s health, Leo offers advanced urologic care by treating a range of urological conditions through medical and surgical care, including men’s health, prostate disease, infertility, sexual dysfunction, urinary incontinence, urinary stone disease and hormone replacement therapy.
Leo, who has more than 35 years of experience and is certified through the American Board of Urology, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical/electrical engineering from Duke University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Pennsylvania State University. He then completed his residency in urologic surgery at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where he focused on urological surgery. Leo later continued his education, completing a Master of Business Administration degree in health care management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
During his career, Leo has maintained a general urology practice in addition to roles with the Mayo Clinic Health System in Minnesota, The Iowa Clinic and Urology Specialists of Nevada. Academically, Leo served as a clinical professor with the University of Nevada-Reno School of Medicine and assistant clinical professor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also was an assistant professor of urology at the Mayo Clinic. He has presented worldwide on subjects such as erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease and hypogonadism. While in Nevada, Leo served as president of the Las Vegas Urological Society.
He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
