Precision Healthcare Specialists has added two experienced physicians, Dr. Sean Castellucci and Dr. Mark Weintraub, to enhance comprehensive urologic care for patients in Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and surrounding communities.
Castellucci is a highly skilled urologist specializing in the treatment of bladder, kidney and prostate cancers, as well as female pelvic organ prolapse, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, kidney stones and urinary incontinence. Renowned for his contributions to research, he has received prestigious honors, including the Robert C. Erwin Literary Award and the Leonard Finkelstein Award in Urology.
A summa cum laude graduate and valedictorian of Alvernia College, Castellucci earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His rigorous training included a general surgery internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center and residencies in general surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center and urology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Castellucci holds memberships in the American Urological Association, the European Association of Urology and the World Congress of Endourology. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
Weintraub brings expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic kidney procedures, no-scalpel vasectomies and advanced treatments for prostate disorders. He also treats erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, kidney stones, incontinence and genitourinary cancers. A trailblazer in his field, Weintraub was the first physician in Manatee County to perform microwave therapy for the prostate.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Occidental College and a medical degree from Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine. Weintraub’s training included a general surgery internship at Oakland Naval Hospital during his service in the U.S. Navy, followed by a urology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans.
Weintraub is a member of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association and the Manatee County Medical Society. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
