Shauna Smith, APRN, has joined Precision Healthcare Specialists as a nurse practitioner providing multidisciplinary breast care to women across Southwest Florida.
Board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Smith has more than 10 years of experience and collaborates with breast surgeon Dr. Natalia Spinelli in Precision Healthcare Specialists’ office in Fort Myers. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurse Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Oncology Nursing Society. Smith holds a nationally accredited breast care nursing certification that encompasses the entire spectrum of breast care nursing practice.
A Southwest Florida native, Smith melds her expertise in women’s health with her passion for fitness and wellness, an approach that helps women design and implement a unique plan to minimize their future risk for breast cancer while empowering them with tools needed to take control of their breast health.
Prior to joining Precision Healthcare Specialists, Smith was a critical care registered nurse with Lee Health, where she provided patient care in the surgical trauma intensive care unit. She also has experience as an instructor and manager with Pure Barre, nursing supervisor with Park Center for Procedures and registered nurse with Lee Health.
Smith earned an Associate of Science degree in nursing from Edison State College and a Master of Science degree in nursing from Frontier Nursing University.
