Partners in Care will host the 8th annual Pink & Blue Golf Scramble on Friday, October 7, at Canyon Lakes Golf Course located at 3700 W Canyon Lakes Dr in Kennewick, WA. Proceeds from the event will remain in the Washington Tri-Cities area to support Partners in Care, a non-profit foundation dedicated to serving cancer patients.

During the event, 36 teams of four will face off for a chance to win a grand prize. Entry fee per player is $125 for non-members and $75 for Canyon Lakes members. Entry fee includes green fees, range balls, an event T-shirt and special dinner. The shotgun start begins at 1 p.m.

“Partners in Care focuses on providing support for patients of cancer in order to relieve some of the extra stressors associated with the disease beyond just the physical aspect,” said Kathy Tolentino, foundation director. “Participants have both a love of golf and a heart for those battling cancer. This event helps directly support the incidental expenses associated with cancer care such as gas or lodging during treatment, medical supplies and other expenses not covered by insurance. This allows patients to keep their focus on battling the disease without the burden of these costs.”
