Michael Palisano joins Norman Love Confections to run shipping operations

Mike PalisanoMichael Palisano has joined the team at Norman Love Confections as Warehouse/Shipping Manager. Prior to joining Norman Love Confections, Palisano spent more than 20 years managing shipping/receiving and distribution services for City Mattress, and also worked on the company’s sales team.

In his new role at Norman Love Confections, Palisano will oversee shipping and receiving operations, including inventory control and logistics strategy for the company’s growing e-commerce and retail operations.

“We are pleased to welcome Michael to our team,” said Norman Love, founder and owner of Norman Love Confections. “With the continued growth of our online sales and retail locations as well as the addition of new products now available for shipping, his experience managing warehouse and distribution operations for a large national retailer is a huge asset to our company.”

Palisano earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Buffalo State College and spent more than a year working in elementary education before joining City Mattress. Born in Buffalo, New York, Palisano graduated from Hamburg Senior High School in 1984 where he lettered in football, hockey and baseball. During his high school and college years, Palisano was a recreation supervisor and instructor, and umpired little league baseball games in the evening.

Norman Love Confections has Chocolate Salons in Fort Myers, Estero and Naples, and Artisan Gelato by Norman Love is next door to the Fort Myers salon, off Daniels Parkway east of I-75. This summer, Norman Love Confections will open its newest chocolate and dessert salon on McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers.
