Matanzas on the Bay on Fort Myers Beach will celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Sunday, May 5, offering all-day dining specials at Petey’s Upper Deck from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and live performances throughout the day.
On the Petey’s Upper Deck menu for Cinco de Mayo, Chef Dave Chetwin’s popular Fajita Pizza is making a special appearance. This festive dish features hand-tossed dough topped with steak or chicken, bell peppers, onions, refried beans, sour cream and guacamole drizzle. The Fajita Pizza will be available at $17 for a 14-inch pie and $11 for a 9-inch. Drink specials include house margaritas for $5, and buckets of Corona for $18. Petey’s daily Happy Hour offerings will also be available from 3 to 6 p.m.
Live music can be enjoyed throughout the day, with Mark Duke performing from noon to 4 p.m., followed by a performance by Sailor Larry from 5 to 9 p.m.
Free car parking and boat dockage is available for guests traveling by land or sea.
