Matanzas on the Bay on Fort Myers Beach is introducing its summer prix fixe menu, featuring a four-course dinner for two including a bottle of wine for $60 per couple. The prix fixe menu is available Sundays through Thursdays from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. through the end of October.
The menu’s first course offers an appetizer to share, and choices include bay bread with crab and artichoke, rum-dipped coconut shrimp, beef satay skewers or shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms. The second course includes a small salad. The entrée selections offered are shrimp and basil-crusted Mahi, crab cakes, Caloosa chicken, sirloin, stuffed flounder or stuffed shrimp. Entrees are served with baked potato, sliced local tomatoes, potato salad, house rice or roasted local vegetables. For the fourth course, guests can select a dessert to share from the following options: homemade key lime pie, dark chocolate torte, salted caramel cheesecake or homemade bread pudding a la mode. In addition, guests can choose a bottle of Vista Point Chardonnay or Cabernet, or may choose to take $10 off any bottle from the wine list.
Matanzas on the Bay offers happy hour and live musical performances daily, and guests can choose to dine indoors or outdoors with a waterfront view. Free car parking and boat dockage is available for guests traveling by land or sea.
