Dorcey Law Presents: Live & In Color has announced event sponsors and remaining tickets for the Feb. 15 showcase to benefit Pace Center for Girls programs in Southwest Florida.
Hosted by local musician Slimtronic5k and world-renowned Sanibel artist Lacy McClary, the event will feature a blend of live arts and entertainment. During the showcase, McClary will paint live for the audience, completing one large 12-piece abstract design. The painting demonstration will be accompanied by three live performances, including opening acts by Carling Witt and the Sun State Blues, followed by headliner Slimtronic5k. Featuring his first-ever full-band appearance with his original music, Slimtronic5k will be accompanied by a band of talented local artists that include Sheena Brook, Matt Anastasi, Alan Linder, Caleb Neff and Rick Setser. At the end of the show, four of the 12 canvases will be awarded to guests via a prize drawing, and the remaining eight paintings will be donated to Pace.
Live & In Color is presented by Dorcey Law Firm. Additional event sponsors include Garramone Plastic Surgery, The Treasure Chest, Worthington Realty, MudBugs Cajun Kitchen, Crowther Roofing, Imperium Creative Studio, iHeart Radio, 95.3 The Beach and Reed Design Build.
Proceeds from the event will support Pace Center for Girls, Lee and Collier at Immokalee, providing girls and young women across Southwest Florida with an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy. Programs are based on the belief that all girls and young women, regardless of race, ethnicity or socioeconomic status, should be uniquely cared for, supported and encouraged to become the best versions of themselves through a path of healing and recovery.
The event will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, located at 2301 First St. in downtown Fort Myers.
Tickets for the event are $55 per person, or $100 per couple. Admission includes one entry per person for the prize drawing of canvases. Additional entries may be purchased at the event.
Tickets are available to purchase at SBDAC.com/Live-In-Color.
