Leadership NEXT, a monthly program for advancing business leaders, will host a session and networking opportunity at America’s first solar-powered town, Babcock Ranch, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10.
The program will take Leadership NEXT’s dynamic group of advancing professionals on an immersive exploration of Babcock Ranch, featuring guided tours of the community’s solar field, natural landscapes and green homes, led by Laura Keller, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Babcock Ranch. Keller will share how Babcock Ranch came to fruition, its current offerings and provide future insight into what is to come for the community. The tour will also include a visit to Lee Health’s Healthy Life Center, the community’s 26,000-square-foot center health and wellness center. Mathieu Knapp, supervisor of the Healthy Life Center, will share about the center’s vast array of modern, convenient health services and programs that are available to residents and the surrounding community.
Following the tour, the evening will conclude with a networking opportunity at Babcock Ranch’s on-site restaurant, Table & Tap. At The Oak, an outdoor patio overlooking Founder’s Square and Lake Babcock, guests will enjoy cocktails, farm-to-table food creations and prize drawings.
The July Leadership NEXT program, which is managed by the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, will begin promptly at 5 p.m. at Babcock Ranch, 42881 Lake Babcock Dr. in Babcock Ranch, Florida. Babcock Ranch and Lee Health are sponsoring the July program and Enterprise will provide transportation upon guests’ arrival to the community.
