Justin Ankney of Mayhugh Commercial Advisors has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, the gold standard for commercial real estate professionals.
To earn the designation, candidates must complete more than 160 hours of education, covering topics ranging from financial, market and investment analysis to negotiations and ethics, with an emphasis on case studies. Candidates must also compile a substantial professional portfolio and pass a comprehensive, six-hour final exam.
Nationwide, fewer than 10 percent of commercial real estate professionals earn such certification. Those who hold the CCIM designation average 42 percent more transactions annually than a typical brokerage specialist, according to industry experts.

A Yale University graduate, baseball team captain and four-year varsity starter, Ankney joined the firm in 2020 as a sales associate. He lives in Southwest Florida with his wife Lori, a second-grade teacher, and their two daughters.
