Jewish Federation of Greater Naples Fed Cup Charity Golf tournament raises money for camp scholarships

Eighty golfers played in the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples Fed Cup 2021 at Lely Classics Golf Course at Lely Resort & Country Club. The annual tournament raised $20,000 for camp scholarships for Jewish youth.

The annual event Oct. 19 included breakfast, lunch and prizes.

Each year, the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples along with Temple Shalom and the Temple Shalom Men’s Club offer partial scholarships for youth to attend Jewish camps and programs around the country and the world.

The tournament’s winning foursome included Len Schuman, Bill Goldman, David Braverman and Fred Rosenfeld. The tournament committee included Les Nizin, president of the Federation’s Men’s Cultural Alliance; Bob Maisel; Schuman; Phyllis Strome; Jane Schiff, Federation chairperson; Jeffrey Feld, Federation CEO; Charles Lostracco, head golf pro, Lely Classics Golf Course; Neil Shnider, and Bill Howel.
