HF Scientific named finalist for Industry Appreciation Awards

HF scientific, a Watts® brand and global producer of instrumentation, test kits and chemical reagents used for monitoring water quality in a variety of applications, was recently recognized as a finalist during Lee County’s 30th annual Industry Appreciation Awards.

Hosted by the Horizon Council, Horizon Foundation and Lee County Economic Development Office, the Industry Appreciation Awards celebrate Lee County businesses that drive the local economy, employ the workforce and shape their industries.

HF scientific was recognized for its focus on developing innovative, cutting-edge technologies with the goal of ensuring water quality and safety. The company moved its headquarters from Canada to Fort Myers in 1980 and was acquired by Watts Water Technologies in 2005. Since then, the company has expanded its footprint with the opening of a new state-of-the-art, 35,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and global headquarters in 2021.

“HF scientific is rooted in Lee County, where our research and development team work hard every day to produce world-class water monitoring solutions that are used around the world to ensure water safety in residential, industrial and commercial settings,” said Dorian Cauceglia, research and development manager, water quality for HF scientific in Fort Myers. “On behalf of HF scientific, we are honored to be recognized as a finalist for business excellence in the innovative technology category.”

In 2022, HF scientific was named Manufacturer of the Year at the Industry Appreciation Awards.
