HF scientific, a Watts® brand and global producer of instrumentation, test kits and chemical reagents used for monitoring water quality in a variety of applications, was recently recognized as a finalist during Lee County’s 30th annual Industry Appreciation Awards.
Hosted by the Horizon Council, Horizon Foundation and Lee County Economic Development Office, the Industry Appreciation Awards celebrate Lee County businesses that drive the local economy, employ the workforce and shape their industries.
HF scientific was recognized for its focus on developing innovative, cutting-edge technologies with the goal of ensuring water quality and safety. The company moved its headquarters from Canada to Fort Myers in 1980 and was acquired by Watts Water Technologies in 2005. Since then, the company has expanded its footprint with the opening of a new state-of-the-art, 35,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and global headquarters in 2021.

In 2022, HF scientific was named Manufacturer of the Year at the Industry Appreciation Awards.
