GulfShore Mustang Club donates $4,682 to Lee BIA Builders Care

Funds will help nonprofit provide emergency construction services for local homeowners in need

Lee BIA Builders Care, the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA), has received a donation of $4,682 from the GulfShore Mustang Club of Southwest Florida, supporting the nonprofit’s efforts to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means.

“We are proud to work with Lee BIA Builders Care by volunteering and fundraising in support of their efforts to help our neighbors in need,” said Annette Nilles, president of the GulfShore Mustang Club of Southwest Florida. “We are thrilled to grow our club and contribute a greater amount each year, and hope to continue this trend for years to come.”

The donation is a result of funds raised throughout the year at multiple events hosted and attended by the Club. To date, the Club has donated more than $20,000 to Lee BIA Builders Care through these events and activities, and members also regularly serve as volunteers at a variety of Lee BIA Builders Care events.

“This generous contribution from the GulfShore Mustang Club of Southwest Florida will truly impact the lives of the homeowners and families we serve,” said Becky Swift, executive director of Lee BIA Builders Care. “We are so thankful for their continued partnership as we strive to change lives, one project at a time.”

GulfShore Mustang Club of Southwest Florida, founded in 1999 and chartered by the Mustang Club of America, is made up of Ford Mustang enthusiasts of all types. The nearly 150 members share knowledge and appreciation of Mustangs through various activities including helping the community along the way.

Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (Lee BIA). The mission of Lee BIA Builders Care is to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means.
