Jennifer Cason, human resources business partner at Gulf Coast Village, has earned a Healthcare Hero Award from Volunteers of America, which sponsors Gulf Coast Village and senior living communities around the country.
The Healthcare Hero Award recognizes employees who consistently demonstrate an ability and willingness to work positively, respectfully and effectively with others. Honorees must inspire their peers to excel by consistently exceeding the expectation of their position by performing at a level beyond their normal job requirements.
“Our residents and their families consistently praise staff for their talent, skills and dedication, and Jennifer is responsible for putting together a team that exceeds residents’ expectations on a daily basis,” said Kevin Ahmadi, area director of operations for Volunteers of America. “Jennifer is passionate about VOA’s mission and vision, and she exudes exemplary professionalism and kindness to everyone on staff. We’re all so proud to see Jennifer recognized as a Healthcare Hero.”
