Volunteers of America National Services has named Greg Anderson to the role of executive director at Gulf Coast Village responsible for overseeing the operations of the nonprofit continuing care retirement community in Cape Coral.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in senior living, Anderson previously served in several leadership positions around the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area of Minnesota, where he spent time as a director of senior housing for Great Lakes Management Company, executive director for Woodbury Senior Living and regional director of operations for Alterra Healthcare Corporation. Anderson began working at Gulf Coast Village in May 2017, serving in administrative roles for the community in various settings including independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing.
“Greg has served in a variety of care settings at Gulf Coast Village, and one of his greatest strengths is his rapport with residents, their families and our associates,” said Jacci Nickell, senior vice president of healthcare operations for Volunteers of America National Services, the sponsor organization of Gulf Coast Village. “Greg brings a wealth of experience to the role and continues to demonstrate his leadership even under challenging circumstances, such as the pandemic. We are grateful for Greg’s commitment to Gulf Coast Village and Volunteers of America National Services and look forward to the future under his talented leadership.”
