Greater Fort Myers Chamber’s Leadership NEXT to host leadership class informational session May 28

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership NEXT committee will host a leadership class informational session from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28 at Voodoo Brewing Company in downtown Fort Myers.

The May informational event invites local business professionals to learn more about the Greater Fort Myers leadership class through the Chamber. Leadership class graduates are also encouraged to attend and bring a guest whom they’d like to nominate to participate. Attendees can expect to hear from the Leadership NEXT committee and leadership class graduates who will share their testimonies.

The Greater Fort Myers leadership class encourages Chamber business members to get involved in the community, broaden their knowledge and heighten their leadership skills through an 11-week structured, interactive program emphasizing local economic, education, government and volunteerism issues. The classes will take place on Wednesdays August through November, with orientation typically held in late August and a graduation celebration in November.

The May event will include light refreshments for attendees.

Leadership NEXT’s annual sponsor is Verizon.

The program will be held at Voodoo Brewing Company, located at 2400 First St. #100 in Fort Myers. Registration is $15 for Chamber members and $25 for future members. Attendees can register in advance at FortMyers.org or call 239-332-2930. Walk-ins are also welcome.
