GMA Architects & Planners of Fort Myers has completed the design and construction administration phase for the remodeled Deep Lagoon Seafood and Oyster House at Waterside Place, a lakeside destination in Lakewood Ranch.
The 10,200-square-foot, waterfront restaurant is located at 1540 Lakefront Drive in Sarasota. The remodeled location includes ample waterfront seating to accommodate approximately 300 patrons and a space for private dining. The design includes indoor, outdoor dining and bar area with views down the lake.
Deep Lagoon, owned and operated by Phelan Family Brands, is recognized for its seafood fare of epicurean adventures, from fresh, locally sourced seafood to a raw bar.
The restaurant, which opened in August, features nautical-themed dining rooms with mounted game fish and ocean-themed artwork.
This is the fourth completed Deep Lagoon location designed by GMA Architects. The company won Summit Awards from the Lee Building Industry Association for its designs for Deep Lagoon restaurants in Fort Myers, Naples and Osprey.
