FYZICAL collecting toys for Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County

Nine FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Southwest Florida are collecting toys to help brighten the holidays for local children and teens.

Through Dec. 6, FYZICAL patients, community members, local businesses, civic organizations and residential communities can drop off donations of new, unwrapped toys or gift cards during regular business hours at select FYZICAL clinics in Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. Donations will be brought to FYZICAL East Fort Myers, which is hosting a Grand Opening Celebration on Dec. 6, and provided to Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County.

“As physical therapists, our primary role is to help patients heal and optimize their wellness,” said Dr. Chris Mulvey, PT, DPT, president of FYZICAL’s company clinics. “Now, our community also needs healing. Partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County is more than just about providing toys; it’s about offering comfort and hope to children.”

“Many of our families have been impacted by Hurricane Ian and need a little extra support during the holiday season,” added Denise Gergley, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County. “We are so thankful for community partners like FYZICAL that are pitching in to make sure children still have gifts to unwrap as our community recovers from the storm.”

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County is requesting age-appropriate toys like learning tools, stuffed animals, sporting goods, board games, electronics, dolls and action figures, as well as gift cards for retail stores and online marketplaces.
