Priority Marketing Founder, President and Chief Creative Officer Teri Hansen, APR, has long given back to the marketing and public relations profession, mentoring countless numbers of professionals at all points in their careers. In fact, Teri was a founding member of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association, even serving a term as president along with additional leadership positions over the years. She is the organization’s longest-serving member.
At the organization’s 40th anniversary celebration in January, the chapter honored Teri by establishing “The Teri Hansen InsPiRe Scholarship” in her name. As the award notes, the scholarship is “in recognition of 40 years of visionary leadership, dedication and generosity in advancing public relations while always inspiring future professionals.” The scholarship will provide annual funding for a chapter member to attend FPRA’s PR & Communications Summit, furthering professional development of local PR professionals.
