The Fort Myers Miracle are celebrating the Fourth of July with a special Independence Day Celebration and postgame fireworks display at the ballpark.
Independence Day will feature food and drink specials during the game, followed by postgame fireworks presented by American Legion Post 38, CenturyLink, iHeart Media and Dairy Queen.
The Independence Day Celebration will be held Wednesday, July 4 at Hammond Stadium, 14100 Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers. Gates open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. game against the Dunedin Blue Jays. Tickets are available for purchase in advance, starting at $8.50.
“Fourth of July is one of the biggest nights of the Miracle season, offering fans and families the opportunity to enjoy hassle-free Independence Day festivities,” said Chris Peters, president and general manager of the Fort Myers Miracle. “With entertainment throughout the game and a spectacular pyrotechnics show to follow, a night at the ballpark is a great way to celebrate our nation’s independence.”
Miracle players will be wearing special USA-themed jerseys, which will be available to fans through a charity auction after the game.
July 4 is also Winning Wednesday at Hammond Stadium, offering fans an opportunity to win great prizes. Winning Wednesday is presented by Miller and Moulton.
