The Fort Myers Miracle’s annual Food Truck Night will feature five mobile chefs and restaurants cooking up traditional and unconventional ballpark fare.
Food Truck Night will be held on Saturday, June 9 at Hammond Stadium, 14100 Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers. The always-popular food truck rally begins at 5 p.m. and features well-known local restaurants and chefs displaying their culinary wizardry from the player parking lot on the stadium’s first base (south) side.
“The Miracle’s talented food and beverage team has concocted some amazingly tasty dishes this season – the pancake bacon burger, poutine and a steaming-hot macaroni and cheese chili dog, to name a few,” said Chris Peters, president and general manager of the Fort Myers Miracle. “Hammond Stadium has become a popular stop for foodies, and Food Truck Night is a great way for Miracle fans to sample cuisine from local restaurants and catch a baseball game all at the same time.”
Participating vendors for Food Truck Night include:
- Tropical Point: Burgers, sandwiches, wraps and desserts
- Nawty Hogg: Backyard barbecue and sides
- Dairy Quick-A-Licious: Ice cream, smoothies and coffee
- Uncle Mikey’s: Italian and American favorites
- Nathan’s Famous: Hotdogs, burgers, fish and fries
The Miracle will be playing the Dunedin Blue Jays on June 9. First pitch is 6 p.m.
In addition to Food Truck Night, June 9 also is World Cup Night at Hammond Stadium, where the first 500 fans through the gates will receive an exclusive Miracle soccer scarf, presented by Budweiser. Prior to the game, the Miracle will induct Marty Scott into the Killebrew Root Beer Professional Scouts Hall of Fame.
