Edison National Bank is pleased to announce that its board of directors has promoted Patrick Philbin to executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company.
“Over the past three years, Patrick’s leadership and long-term banking experience has allowed him to successfully expand his role with the company and take on additional responsibilities while demonstrating strong leadership skills,” said Geoffrey Roepstorff, CEO of Edison National Bank. “Patrick combines a deep understanding of the banking industry’s financial and business environment with the ability to inspire those around him, and we are excited to see how these attributes will influence our team in continuing to provide and enhance service to our customers.”
Philbin completed his undergraduate education at Queens College in New York majoring in accounting and economics, and obtained his Master of Business Administration from New York University. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. As a certified public accountant and with 30 years of banking experience, Philbin is well versed in the financial sector. He is currently involved in leadership roles for several community nonprofit organizations.
