ECHO, a leading advocate for sustainable agriculture and food security, will be hosting a series of upcoming workshops aimed at empowering small-scale farmers and those starting in agricultural development with innovative practices. These events are designed to foster knowledge, innovation, and community building within the agricultural sector.
Each of the four-day long workshops will give attendees insight into Syntropic Agroforestry, an innovative approach to regenerative agriculture. Attendees will learn principles and practices to plan an agroforest, basic design and management skills and have hands-on experiences with ECHO’s Syntropic systems.
The workshops will be:
- April 2-5 – Introduction to Tropical Agriculture Development
- April 9-12 – Syntropic Agroforestry – Tropical Agriculture Development II
“We believe that knowledge is the key to transforming agriculture and ensuring food security for future generations,” said Abram Bicksler, CEO at ECHO. “These workshops are an opportunity for individuals to gain practical insights, connect with industry experts, and contribute to the advancement of sustainable farming practices.”
Both workshops will take place at ECHO, 17391 Durrance Road, North Fort Myers 33917.
