Easter egg hunt, Star Wars Night and postgame fireworks highlight Fort Myers Miracle’s three-day homestand

Following a successful road trip, the Fort Myers Miracle are returning to Hammond Stadium for a three-game, pre-Easter homestand packed with family-friendly promotions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Children 12 and under are invited to one of Southwest Florida’s largest Easter egg hunts on the field prior to Saturday’s game. The Easter Bunny and Sway, the Miracle’s mascot, are inviting all youth onto the diamond at precisely 5:15 p.m. for the event. Saturday also First Responders Night, when all first responders and their families are admitted free with valid ID, as well as Wrestling Night featuring an appearance from wrestling legend Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. Even four-legged fans are welcome at Hammond Stadium as the Miracle hold the season’s first Bark in the Park social event.

Friday’s game is the Miracle’s annual Star Wars Night, where fans can meet some of their favorite characters from the movies and participate in a lively costume contest. This year, Hammond Stadium’s culinary team will be serving up special Star Wars-themed food from the concession stands. After the game, Darth Vaders, Princess Leias, Luke Skywalkers and the rest of the Star Wars cast can enjoy a fireworks show beyond right field.

All three games are against the Miracle’s closest rival, the Charlotte Stone Crabs. Below are nightly promotions for the upcoming homestand:

  • Thursday, April 18 (6:30 p.m.): Thirsty Thursday $1 and $2 beer specials; $5 tickets for Florida SouthWestern State College students, employees and alumni.
  • Friday, April 19 (6:30 p.m.): Half-off Wicked Dolphin cocktails for Happy Hour at the Salty Crab Bar; Star Wars Night; postgame fireworks show; Books for Bats recognition for schools that participated in the Miracle’s reading and attendance challenge.
  • Saturday, April 20 (6 p.m.): Pre-game Easter Egg Hunt; Wrestling Night; First Responders Night; Bark in the Park; championship cap giveaway to the first 500 fans.

Hammond Stadium is located at CenturyLink Sports Complex, 14400 Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers. General admission tickets start at $7.50 in advance or $9 on game day.
