Dr. Reisha Brown of Healthcare Network once again named Castle Connolly ‘Top Doctor’

For the fifth  year, pediatrician Dr. Reisha Brown of Healthcare Network has been honored as one of the region’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., a research and publishing company created to help consumers identify the best health care providers.

Brown has been included annually in Castle Connolly’s regional directory of “Top Doctors” for pediatrics since 2015. Castle Connolly recognizes the top 10 percent of primary and specialty care physicians within their chosen field after a doctor-led research team completes an extensive review of nominations, credentials and interviews. Because doctors must be nominated by a peer, being listed reflects a provider’s positive reputation and credentials.

“We are proud to have Dr. Brown recognized as Top Doctor by Castle Connolly,” said Dr. Emily Ptaszek, president and chief executive officer of Healthcare Network. “This recognition reinforces our longstanding mission to provide the best quality care to our patients, many of whom are in underserved, vulnerable populations.”

Brown has been practicing medicine since 2002, moved to Southwest Florida in 2007 and joined Healthcare Network August 2018. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology at Bryn Mawr College, and her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. Her residency was at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. She serves on the David Lawrence Center and the Collier County Medical Society Foundation boards.
