Dr. Lina Sakr joins Naples Center for Functional Medicine

Dr. Lina Sakr

Naples Center for Functional Medicine has added Dr. Lina Sakr, an internal medicine specialist, to its team of physicians.

Sakr, who has nearly four decades of experience and is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine, specializes in metabolic and nutritional medicine, anti-aging medicine and women’s health.

Prior to joining Naples Center for Functional Medicine, she spent 25 years in private practice in Michigan. She also was an attending physician at William Beaumont Hospital and served as clinical assistant professor at Oakland University William Beaumont Hospital School of Medicine.

“Many of our patients are looking for natural alternatives to feel younger while optimizing their overall health and wellness,” said Dr. Carol L. Roberts, medical director at Naples Center for Functional Medicine. “We’re excited to welcome Dr. Sakr to our team and our community because her expertise in anti-aging medicine and women’s health are in high demand in Southwest Florida.”

Sakr received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Damascus University School of Medicine in Syria. In addition to certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine, she has earned an American Board of Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM) fellowship in metabolic and nutritional medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
