Cypress Pharmacy’s wellness program will offer small group classes for focused wellness topics including detoxification, weight loss, diabetes management, heart health, smoking cessation and more.
The classes will allow Cypress Pharmacy’s natural health consultant Dr. Stan Headley to explore topics more deeply with participants than he can in the popular monthly Seminar Saturday lectures.
The small group classes are limited to four participants and will include a one-hour class led by Headley, a 30-minute one-on-one follow up appointment with Headley for a progress check and to answer questions, and about $90-$100 worth of targeted supplements for each topic free for the first month. Sessions will be $199 per person.
Classes will be offered approximately every two weeks. Cypress Pharmacy’s free monthly Saturday Seminar series will continue the second Saturday of every month.
Available wellness class topics include:
- Detoxification Class 101: Toxins and Your Health
- Natural Health Strategies for Diabetes
- Natural Health Strategies to Support Your Heart
- Natural Alternatives to Prescription Medications
- What Causes Insomnia, and How to Achieve Deep Quality Sleep Without Drugs
- How To Improve Your Health By Improving Your Gut
As Cypress Pharmacy’s natural health consultant, Headley offers nutritional and lifestyle counseling, supplement recommendations, lab testing and educational seminars, emphasizing options for those with chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure.
Cypress Pharmacy’s wellness program offers one-on-one consultations with Headley on Mondays through Fridays, or with a pharmacist on Mondays through Saturdays. Recommendations can include pharmaceutical-grade supplements in addition to dietary and lifestyle changes. Pharmacists may also examine current medications to assure the most effective therapy for the patient’s needs and to prevent duplicate therapies.
Headley is recognized as a leading authority in functional and natural wellness, which seeks to determine how and why diseases, illnesses and pain are occurring. He attempts to identify the root cause of a health concern rather than just treating symptoms. Headley does not diagnose or treat disease but educates customers about lifestyle and behavioral changes that can promote optimal health.
Classes will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis at Cypress Pharmacy, 9451 Cypress Lake Drive in Fort Myers. To register for Cypress Pharmacy’s small group wellness classes, please call 239-481-7322 or visit the pharmacy.
