The Conservancy of Southwest Florida and Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) have partnered to host the third annual Environmental Education Alliance Conference, taking place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at the FGCU campus.

The theme of the Environmental Education Alliance Conference will focus on “Innovations in Environmental Education.” The event will bring together environmental educators from across the five-county region to discuss and share best practices, network with peers from other organizations, and engage with other professionals in thoughtful discussions on new and innovative ideas designed to improve and advance the field of environmental education.

The Environmental Education Alliance Conference aligns with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s mission to promote sound environmental education within the Southwest Florida community and beyond. Environmental initiatives undertaken by the Conservancy of Southwest Florida provide a foundation for children and adults to make responsible decisions to preserve Southwest Florida’s natural resources for years to come.

Environmental educators interested in learning more or attending the conference are asked to contact Michelle Rebilas at micheller@conservancy.org. Registration is required.
