Conservancy Nature Center to reopen Oct. 4

Following the effects of Hurricane Irma, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s Nature Center will reopen to guests on Wednesday, Oct. 4, resuming normal business hours of Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s von Arx Wildlife Hospital is currently open and admitting patients seven days a week between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

“This has been, and continues to be, a difficult time for so many in our community. Despite the exhausting heat and long hours, we are pleased to have worked alongside one another to make a positive impact on behalf of Southwest Florida’s water, land, wildlife and future,” said Rob Moher, “Now we are ready to get back to enjoying nature once again, and we look forward to reopening our doors to the community as we join in celebrating the beauty and resilience of this special place we call home.”
