Each month, Priority Marketing spotlights outstanding media coverage of our clients’ news and events. You’ll see them featured frequently in newspapers and magazines, on television and radio, and on blogs and social media.
Recently, the firm’s public relations team partnered with longtime client Child Care of Southwest Florida on a pair of feature stories showcasing caring members of the community. The first focused on a 74-year-old story time volunteer. She doesn’t just read stories to children… she dresses the part! Because the child care center is in LaBelle, distance often prevents Fort Myers-based media from covering stories there. Priority Marketing captured one of the volunteer’s visits on video, providing B-roll clips and interviews to the news media.

The second story involved a Fort Myers teen whose Eagle Scout project involved constructing a kid-sized chess board and tetherball set for the school playground. Aspiring Eagle Scouts complete projects across the community. What made this story stand out, though, was that the center honored the scout with a plaque and allowed him to give a speech to inspire the next generation of scouts – and it was all captured on video.

Another client generating significant media coverage in recent weeks was Healthcare Network. The nonprofit is a major player in Southwest Florida health care, so its selection of a new CEO has an impact on medical and dental care for tens of thousands of people. Priority Marketing distributed a news release announcing new CEO Jamie Ulmer that covered his experience, education, military background and achievements.
