Christopher Morgan joins portfolio management team at The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company

Christopher D. Morgan, CFA, CFP®, CAP has joined The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company as a member of the portfolio management team in Fort Myers.

Morgan has more than a decade of financial industry experience and is responsible for consulting with his clients and managing investment portfolios to meet their goals and objectives. He also has a specialty in philanthropy and helps guide high-net-worth families who may be charitably inclined.

Morgan’s prior roles include serving as vice president and senior investment officer at Members Trust Company in Tampa, where he managed more than $1.4 billion of client portfolio assets, and vice president and senior investment strategist at First American Bank in Boca Raton, managing the firm’s $500 million of private wealth management assets.

Morgan holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (BSBA) and double-majored in finance and accounting at the University of Miami in Coral Gables. He is based in The Trust Company’s newest office at 13525 Bell Tower Drive in Fort Myers.
