The Lung Cancer Research Council is partnering with the Charlotte Stone Crabs for “Make a Difference Mondays” to help the nonprofit volunteer organization support its mission of extending and saving lives.
Baseball fans simply need to type in the unique code “LUNG” when purchasing Stone Crabs tickets online for Monday home games, and $5 from every ticket will be donated to the Lung Cancer Research Council.
The Stone Crabs have eight Monday home games during the 2018 regular season: May 14 vs. Lakeland, June 4 vs. Dunedin, June 18 vs. Lakeland, July 2 vs. Fort Myers, July 9 vs. St. Lucie, July 16 vs. Tampa, Aug. 6 vs. Bradenton and Aug. 27 vs. Daytona.
“We are thrilled the Charlotte Stone Crabs have chosen to partner with the Lung Cancer Research Council this season,” said Thomas E. Cappiello, president of the Lung Cancer Research Council. “We’re hoping to pack the grandstands on ‘Make a Difference Mondays.’ With $5 being donated for every ticket sold, the Stone Crabs’ contribution certainly will help us continue the fight against cancer.”
