Priority Marketing has hired Brenda Bitzer as senior media coordinator, a role in which she plans and places media buys, traffics materials, researches media opportunities, audits and reconciles media placements and invoices, and maintains media department records.
The firm’s media buying department coordinates and places advertising for TV, newspaper, magazine, radio, outdoor and online media. Clients represent a broad spectrum of industries, including hospitality and tourism, retail, health care, senior living, construction, legal, financial, government, education and locally-owned businesses, as well as nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations.
Prior to joining Priority Marketing, Bitzer worked in the newspaper industry for more than 40 years. As an insert manager for more than a decade, Bitzer negotiated prices and sales agreements, demonstrated product options to customers, calculated production and delivery costs, liaised with vendors and tracked sales successes. Bitzer’s previous roles in the newspaper industry included commercial print and insert specialist, account executive and other positions where she processed subscription payments, handled classified and display ads, and completed newspaper layout and design.
