Boys & Girls Club of Collier County has opened registration for its 19th annual FORE-the-Kids Golf Tournament, which will be held Nov. 5 at The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek in Naples.
The annual event features 18 holes of championship golf, lunch, a cocktail reception, live and silent auctions, an awards program and a strolling dinner. Proceeds support after-school and summer programs that serve more than 3,000 children and teens annually.
“FORE-the-Kids started as a golf tournament but has grown into an all-day social event that attracts just as many non-golfers as golfers,” said Megan McCarthy Beauvais, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Collier County. “It’s one of the first charitable events of the season, and we’re looking forward to seeing our longtime donors as well as welcoming some new supporters this year.”
On-site player check-in for the golf tournament starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 at The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek, 3470 Club Center Blvd. in Naples. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 11 a.m., followed by a cocktail reception and auction at 4 p.m., ending with a strolling dinner at 5:30 p.m.
Player registration is $500 per person or $2,000 per foursome and includes golf, lunch and a ticket to the cocktail party, awards ceremony and auction. Non-golfers can purchase tickets to the cocktail party, awards ceremony and auction for $40 each.
FORE-the-Kids’ title sponsor is Karen Pulte. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available and include golfer registration fees, cocktail party tickets and marketing exposure. Hole sponsorships are available for $500.
