Bobby Nichols – Fiddlesticks Charity Foundation launches updated website NicholsCup.org

The Bobby Nichols-Fiddlesticks Charity Foundation has launched a redesigned website, NicholsCup.org, offering an enhanced user experience while raising awareness of the organization’s mission of serving abused and at-risk children in Southwest Florida.

Founded in 2002, the Bobby Nichols-Fiddlesticks Charity Foundation is a group of Fiddlesticks members, who volunteer to organize and run the annual Nichols Cup celebrity pro-am invitational golf tournament and charity tennis tournament. The Foundation celebrates the contributions and accomplishments of Bobby Nichols, winner of 14 PGA Tour tournaments including the 1964 PGA Championship and 1974 Canadian Open. Since its inception 20 years ago, the Foundation has raised a total of more than $15 million to benefit local children’s charities through golf and tennis events with tournament sponsorships, raffles, live and silent auctions.

Featuring a fresh, interactive design, the new homepage spotlights more than 20 years of giving which equates to helping over 100,000 at-risk children in Southwest Florida. The website offers an improved navigation system compatible with all mobile devices, including mobile and tablets. The menu allows visitors to easily access the most useful pages and explore the Foundation’s mission, beneficiaries, supporters, events and ways to give.

“Giving back is something near to our hearts so to further our efforts in helping at-risk children, we are excited to launch a new modern Bobby Nichols – Fiddlesticks Charity Foundation website,” said Bryan Simmering, vice president of the Bobby Nichols – Fiddlesticks Charity Foundation. “The new site gives our donors and visitors a more comprehensive overview of the Foundation’s impact on the community and how we are making a difference with the help of local charity partners.”

This year, Bobby Nichols-Fiddlesticks Charity Foundation presented $1.7 million in grants to designated charities of the 20th annual Nichols Cup tournaments and auction gala, serving abused and at-risk children in Southwest Florida. The record-setting fundraising efforts were distributed among the Foundation’s two primary charity partners, Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida and Abuse Counseling & Treatment, additional beneficiaries Blessings in a Backpack and Liberty Youth Ranch, and two one-year grants to Catholic Charities and Pace Center for Girls, Lee.
