Family-friendly grilling event includes free samples, demos and giveaways
Sunshine Ace Hardware in Largo is hosting Big Green Egg’s Taste Takeover on Nov. 8, when foodies and barbecue-lovers around Tampa Bay will have opportunities to enjoy samples of freshly grilled chicken wings, pork tenderloin and more hot off the grill.
Taste Takeover is a unique, family-friendly celebration of grilling that brings together grill masters and Big Green Egg enthusiasts for a one-of-a-kind, food-centric event. In addition to complimentary food samples, guests at Taste Takeaway can observe live-fire cooking demos, register for exclusive giveaways and receive special discounts available only during the event.
“Big Green Egg has developed a cult following of sorts, and you can use it to cook meat, vegetables, side dishes and even desserts,” said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. “It’s difficult to describe, but anything cooked on a Big Green Egg just tastes better.”
A Big Green Egg is a multi-functional ceramic charcoal barbecue cooker that offers versatile grilling, smoking, roasting, baking and searing capabilities. Taste Takeover runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Sunshine Ace Hardware, 1015 West Bay Drive in Largo.
The first 50 attendees at Sunshine Ace Hardware will receive a free Big Green Egg goodie bag. All guests can register to win a Big Green Egg-branded 20-ounce YETI Tumbler and qualify for a 10% discount on Big Green Egg promo packages.
