With Halloween on the horizon, Bell Tower Shops is hosting a canine costume contest at its Oct. 12 Yappy Hour event.
“Halloween Howl” runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12 in the breezeway near World of Beer. Pet owners are encouraged to dress their four-legged family members in their Halloween costume – the more creative, the better. The cost to participate is a $5 donation to the Gulf Coast Humane Society.
Bell Tower Shops, Southwest Florida’s dog-friendly shopping, dining and entertainment destination, holds Yappy Hour on the second Friday of each month. Yappy Hour is the area’s largest pet-friendly social hour, providing an evening of fun for pet lovers and their four-legged friends.
Yappy Hour is weather permitting. Follow Bell Tower Shops on social media for weather updates impacting special events.
DJ Robert McDonald will be providing entertainment for the Oct. 12 Yappy Hour. A bounce house, sidewalk chalk station and lawn games will be available for guests to enjoy. World of Beer will present beer and wine for the evening, with $1 from every happy hour draft beer and happy hour wine benefiting the Gulf Coast Humane Society. Omaha Steaks will also present a “Doggone Good Deal” – $2 hot dogs and $1 water bottles, with proceeds going to the Gulf Coast Humane Society.
Throughout Yappy Hour, visitors will have an opportunity to stop by dog-friendly sponsor stations and meet adoptable dogs from the Gulf Coast Humane Society.
