Bell Tower Shops announces opening of locally-owned boutique store Driftwood Blue

Bell Tower Shops is pleased to announce the addition of Driftwood Blue, a locally owned boutique selling jewelry, clothing, accessories, eclectic gifts and artisan crafts personally curated by the owners.

Driftwood Blue was previously known to Southwest Florida residents as Cargo Trading Co., a popular retail outlet on Sanibel Island. The business opened in 2013 selling home accents and décor, unique clothing, candles and other items from its stylish collection of goods.

“We were seeking a more central location to better serve our loyal patrons and reach new customers,” said owners Karen and Paul Roberts. “The store at Bell Tower Shops puts us right into the heart of Southwest Florida’s shopping, dining and entertainment destination. We are looking forward to the new look at Bell Tower Shops and are thrilled to be ready and well-placed for Bell Tower Shops’ fresh new atmosphere coming later this year.”

Bell Tower Shops recently announced a comprehensive redevelopment initiative to create a more modern look and feel. Plans include new gathering areas, updated architecture and redesigned storefronts, fresh paint and contemporary lighting.

“The name ‘Driftwood Blue’ might be new to shoppers, but we’re still offering the same types of exclusive items, handmade gifts and attentive customer service that made Cargo Trading Co. so successful,” said Karen and Paul Roberts. “Our store manager, Candi Maraldi, has worked with us for many years in our store and our restaurant on Sanibel, and has a passion for retail and is very excited to be part of our new Bell Tower Shops location.”

Driftwood Blue is located in Suite 117, adjacent to World of Beer and francesca’s. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

A wide selection of Driftwood Blue merchandise is available online at DriftwoodBlue.com. For more information, please call 239-472-8111 or email info@driftwoodblue.com.
