Bell Tower announces addition of Burntwood Tavern to restaurant offerings at south Fort Myers center

Bell Tower is proud to welcome Burntwood Tavern to its evolving list of culinary destinations that continue to attract foodies and families from across Southwest Florida.

Burntwood Tavern is a casual American restaurant with an expansive menu of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, flatbreads and dinner features such as crab cakes, lobster ravioli, tavern steak and frites, asiago-crusted chicken, cedar salmon and more. The restaurant’s popular weekend brunch includes a lunchtime menu coupled with brunch favorites like avocado toast, a Nashville chicken biscuit, sunrise bowl, mimosas, Bloody Marys and other delights.

Established in 2010 by the Chef Art Pour Restaurant Group, Burntwood Tavern’s 10 locations are known for their rustic décor and ambiance, signature copper-topped bars, lively atmosphere and esteemed chefs who are widely recognized for their trend-setting culinary creations. The nearest Burntwood Tavern, which offers “Kids Eat Free” Mondays and live music, is at Mercato in Naples.

“We love the new look of Bell Tower and are excited to become a part of it, as well as have a second Burntwood in the Southwest Florida market,” said Founder Bret Adams. “We are looking forward to becoming part of the Fort Myers community.”

Burntwood Tavern, which is expected to open later this year, will be located on the southern end of Bell Tower, between The Fresh Market and Bed Bath & Beyond. The space is located in the heart of Bell Tower and features both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a wraparound bar.

The addition of Burntwood Tavern adds to a distinctive mix of restaurants that includes Blue Pointe Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill, Cantina Laredo, DaRuMa Japanese Steak House, Dave & Buster’s, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, Mimi’s Café, Society, TGI Friday’s and World of Beer.

“A key component in our year-long comprehensive redevelopment at Bell Tower is the addition of new restaurants, boutiques and retail stores, and we’re excited to welcome Burntwood Tavern to Bell Tower,” said Samantha Lillard, senior general manager at Bell Tower. “The restaurant will give Southwest Florida residents and visitors another reason to check out ‘the new Bell Tower,’ and we’ll be announcing more openings in the weeks and months ahead.”

The Burntwood Tavern concept originated in Ohio, but three of its four upcoming restaurant openings are in Florida.

A grand opening date has not been set. For more information, please visit BurntwoodTavern.com.
