Precision Healthcare Specialists has added Aileen Fiallo, PA-C, as a physician assistant in the network’s head and neck cancer treatment center in Fort Myers.
Fiallo, who is board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, works in collaboration with Dr. Anthony Anfuso to treat head and neck cancer patients. The practice focuses on the surgical management of malignant and benign tumors of the mouth, throat, larynx, neck, salivary glands, thyroid, parathyroid and skin.
Physician assistants deliver a broad range of medical and surgical services, and are authorized to conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel patients on preventive health care, assist in surgery and prescribe medications.
Prior to joining Precision Healthcare Specialists, Fiallo was a physician assistant at Head & Neck Surgical Cancer Specialists of SW Florida. She trained as a physician assistant student at Archbold Medical Center, Palmetto General Hospital, Hospital of Largo, Apalachee Center and Allegheny Health Network, completing rotations in emergency medicine, orthopedic surgery, cardiology, internal medicine, vascular surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry and women’s health. She also has experience as a phlebotomist at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Archbold Medical Center.
Fiallo earned a Master of Science degree in the physician assistant program at Seton Hill University, a Bachelor of Science degree in the physician assistant program at Thomas University and an Associate of Arts degree in health sciences from Santa Fe College. She also earned a certificate as a medical and clinical assistant from the U.S. Career Institute.
