Agency Access Q&A
What first drew you to Priority Marketing?
“Honestly, I think the better question is what has kept me here. I joined Priority Marketing 11 years ago looking for a new challenge. What I found was a team truly committed to our clients and to each other. We are family, and in this business, that makes all the difference. When people care about each other, it shows in the work. That is what solution-driven marketing and advertising, crafted with love right here in Southwest Florida, looks like.”
What questions do you ask clients after they say ‘I want a new website?’
“‘Would you like fries with that?’ Haha, just kidding! A great website is not fast food. Setting goals is easy. Commitment is what gets you there. So, the question I ask most is: What are you committed to? More leads? A stronger reputation? Growing into a new market? A website is a powerful tool, but on its own, it doesn’t build authority, trust or experience. That comes from a clear strategy and a partner who is committed right alongside you. We don’t just build websites. We help our clients achieve real outcomes, backed by real results.”
Anyone can DIY a website through WordPress or AI. Why should businesses avoid that approach?
“I love that technology makes it possible for anyone to launch a website in an afternoon. But think about what is at stake… your reputation, your name and your brand. Those are not things to trust to shortcuts. AI is an amazing tool, but a tool is only as good as the strategy and experience behind it. If marketing isn’t your field, would you trust something built in an hour to represent your business? Every business has a challenge. Our job is to bring the solution and the strategy to make it work. A professional team researches your audience, your competitors and your goals, then builds a presence designed to grow with you. Quality and creativity are worth protecting.”
What are the three most important components of a website to make sure it turns up in Google Search and AI Overviews?
“Content, structure and user experience, and they work as a team. Great content answers the real questions your customers are asking, and that is exactly what Google and AI Overviews are looking for. But even the best content needs a solid technical foundation, like clean code, schema markup and fast load times, so search engines and AI can find it, understand it and trust it. Finally, all of that should sit on thoughtful UI/UX. When visitors enjoy an intuitive experience, they stay longer, engage more and convert. And search engines notice that.”
Website security is often overlooked in web development. Why is this such an important consideration for businesses?
“Technology keeps evolving, and so do cyberattacks. Security gets overlooked because everyone is excited about design, content and rankings. Those things matter, but it’s a bit like decorating your home beautifully and forgetting to lock the front door. One breach can cost you data, rankings and, most importantly, the trust of your customers. Security should be part of every website from day one, not an afterthought. Protecting your website protects your business, your customers and your reputation.”
