Doctors at Advocate Radiation Oncology recently joined medical staff, family members and local physicians in celebrating a growing list of achievements for the 5-year-old practice.
Held Oct. 17 at Beacon Social Drinkery at the Luminary Hotel in Fort Myers, guests at Advocate’s Five-Year Anniversary Celebration sampled hors d’oeuvres, enjoyed refreshments and listened to heartfelt tributes of appreciation, all while gazing at a spectacular sunset over the Caloosahatchee River.
“Advocate’s growth is a testament that if you do what’s right for patients who need our help, you’ll be successful,” said Dr. Arie Dosoretz, a board-certified radiation oncologist and managing partner of Advocate Radiation Oncology. “Advocate is thriving today because its commitment from day one was to employ a team of compassionate, world-class physicians and researchers while investing in top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art technology. To think about how many lives we have changed – and saved – over the past five years is truly incredible.”
Since opening its first cancer treatment center in 2019, Advocate has grown to include nine locations across southern Florida. A 10th cancer treatment center is under construction at Southwest Florida Proton in Estero, and additional locations are under development.
