Teri Hansen is the founder, president and chief creative officer of Priority Marketing, an entrepreneurial dream that began at a dining room table in 1992 and flourished into one of Florida’s largest, full-service marketing, advertising, public relations and digital marketing firms.

A Fort Myers native, Teri is Accredited in Public Relations and has earned a reputation for exceptional integrity, leadership and spirit throughout her extensive career. Her team of award-winning professionals has helped hundreds of businesses and organizations achieve outstanding results nationwide through services ranging from PR, brand development, graphic design and media planning to website development, social media marketing, digital strategies and event planning. The company serves more than 400 clients representing every industry, including the arts, government, education, health care, hospitality and tourism, senior living, retail, construction, legal, finance, nonprofit and more.

Teri has earned hundreds of local, state, national and international awards. Her most notable professional recognitions include the highest honors for the PR and advertising industries, which include being recognized three times among PRNEWS’ Top Women in PR and with the American Advertising Federation’s Advertising Hall of Fame, the American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal and the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA)’s John Dillin Lifetime Achievement Award. Priority Marketing has also earned prestigious recognition including PRNEWS’ Agency Elite Top 100 Companies in America, GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch, four-time recognition in University of South Florida’s Fast 56 fastest growing U.S. alumni-owned businesses in the world, FPRA’s 2025 Florida Agency of the Year, one of Southwest Florida’s “Best Places to Work,” and the Best PR Firm, Best Digital Marketing and Best Ad Agency in Gulfshore Business’ Best of Business awards.

Teri was a founding member of FPRA’s Southwest Florida Chapter in 1985 and has been a charter board member for Lee BIA Builders Care since 2006. She currently serves on the board for SalusCare, as an advisory board member for Better Together, and holds a prestigious role in serving as the region’s voice for marketing, public relations and advertising as a county-appointed board member for the Lee County Industrial Development Authority. A breast cancer survivor, she also provides countless hours of heartfelt support and encouragement to dozens of women facing this diagnosis.

Teri has led Priority Marketing in donating more than $6.5 million for in-kind services to date, furthering the missions of 200+ organizations across the region. Additionally, her firm’s event services have championed dozens of nonprofits in raising more than $250 million to date in support of their missions.
