Priority Marketing Founder, President and Chief Creative Officer Teri Hansen, APR, has been named to the Advertising Hall of Fame by the American Advertising Federation District 4, which represents Florida and the Caribbean.
One of six industry leaders being recognized as Class of 2024 inductees, Teri is among those “who have distinguished themselves in their career, have contributed to the betterment of advertising and its reputation, and have made volunteer efforts outside the workplace.”
Teri founded Priority Marketing in 1992 as a one-person operation, and today the firm employs nearly 60 marketing professionals offering services that include public relations, brand development, web services, social media, creative services, media buying, video production, digital marketing, event planning and more. The firm partners with clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including hospitality and tourism, retail, health care, senior living, construction, legal, aviation, financial, education and government, as well as charitable organizations. Priority Marketing has been honored at the local, state, national and international levels with prestigious awards while providing more than $5 million in discounted and pro-bono services to local nonprofits.
In 2022, Teri was honored as the Silver Medal Award recipient through AAF’s Southwest Florida Chapter. The Silver Medal recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to advertising by actively furthering industry standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern. Teri helped reactivate AAF’s local chapter in 2019 and served initially on its board of directors.
Teri will join the other Hall of Famers at a dinner and induction ceremony on April 19 in Orlando.
