To recognize student academic achievement, Wooten’s Everglades Airboat Tours and Captain Jack’s Airboat Tours are offering a complimentary airboat ride through the Florida Everglades to students who earn an A or A/B Honor Roll report card for the current school year, redeemable June 11 through Aug. 31, 2016. Students in grades K-12 are asked to present their report card at the ticket office at either location to receive their free tour ticket with the purchase of one regular-priced adult tour ticket. Students will also receive free admittance to Wooten’s animal sanctuary and live gator show. Only grade reports earned during the 2015-2016 school year will be honored, and this offer cannot be combined with any other ongoing offers or discounts.
“An airboat ride in the Everglades is a unique reward for working hard and earning good grades. It’s also an activity that families can enjoy together while learning more about our native environment,” said Aashish Patel, owner and operator of Wooten’s Everglades Airboat Tours. “By offering a reward program for students who achieve good grades, and maybe even the chance to hold a baby alligator, we hope to motivate kids to keep up the great work.”
Captain Jack’s Everglades Airboat Tours and Wooten’s Everglades Airboat Tours offer multiple Everglades experiences including the Everglades Grassland Airboat Tour, Swamp Buggy Tour, Mangroves Tour, a live alligator show and a visit to the animal sanctuary, home to panthers, tigers, otters, snakes and more than 100 alligators. Captain Jack’s is located at 200 Collier Ave. in Everglades City, Florida. Wooten’s is located at 32330 Tamiami Trail E. in Ochopee, Florida. The ticket offices for Captain Jack’s and Wooten’s are open daily, seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 365 days a year.
