Matanzas on the Bay on Fort Myers Beach will present the JENDU Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 27, with tournament brackets beginning at noon, followed by a championship game at approximately 3 p.m. The event will feature a single elimination tournament, where the best team out of three games will be declared the winner. The grand prize package presented to the winning team will include a JENDU Cornhole Board set, $100 gift certificate to Matanzas on the Bay, a free night stay at Matanzas Bayside Inn and a championship trophy. Tournament festivities will also include a 50/50 raffle, $100 Long Shot Shoot Out and awards for Most Spirited Team and Runner Up.
Check in will begin at 11 a.m. for all teams. Two-person teams and single players can register for the tournament at www.JenduRecreation.com, with registration $40 per team for two-person teams, and $20 per person for single players. Registration includes tournament participation, team shirts, goodie bags, door prize raffle drawings and buy-one-get-one drinks at Matanzas on the Bay.
